In November 1923, Hanfstaengl was involved in the Hitler Putsch - the failed attempt by the NSDAP to take over the power in the German Reich by coupage from Bavaria. While Hanfstaengl was able to flee to Salzburg, Hitler initially dived in Hanfstaengl's country house in Uffing on Lake Staffel, but was arrested there by the Bavarian police after a few days. According to Hanfstaengl's report, his wife Helene, born Niemeyer, Hitler was said to have held away from shooting himself in the face of the upcoming arrest.

Max Amann was Hitler's superior at times as a deputy sergeant during the First World War. As a close confidant of Hitler, he took over the management of the NSDAP on August 1, 1921, although he only joined the party on October 1, 1921. Eleonore Baur
On February 19, 1920, Eleonore Baur, according to her own statement, met the civilians Anton Drexler and Adolf Hitler on the tram. She had overrun her station and was supposed to pay back. Since she didn't have any money with her, Drexler helpfully paid the amount for her. Through this incident she came into contact with “the movement”, from then on attended meetings in the Sterneckerbräu and was soon one of the very first members of the DAP and thus the NSDAP (membership number 506).

Hitler had given her a villa with a garden in Oberhaching, which was furnished with items from the workshops of the Dachau concentration camp.
