Leopold von Mildenstein

From 1938 Mildenstein worked in the Ministry of Propaganda, where he became head of the Middle East department.

Leopold von Mildenstein was the head of Department II/112: Jews of the security service of the Reichsführer (SD), in whom he brought Adolf Eichmann, who later built the so -called Eichmann referative with these experiences.

Kurt Tuchler was involved in the board of the Zionist Association for Germany and took part in several Zionist congresses as a delegate. As part of the efforts to facilitate the emigration that found their reflection in the Ha’Avara agreement, he accompanied Leopold von Mildenstein on his trip to Palestine, about this in 1934 in an article series in the attack under the title.

During a six -month visit to Palestine in 1933, Mildenstein and his wife met the Tuchler couple, who also visited Palestine and with whom they were friends.

Kurt Tuchler was a member of the Zionist Association for Germany.

Mildenstein was able to publish 12 travel reports of this time from September 26 to October 9, 1934 in the Berlin newspaper published by Joseph Goebbels (title: "A Nazi goes to Palestine"). Newspaper subscribers received a medal, shaped with the series title, a swastika and the star of David. Mildenstein located in the Zionist pioneers "something new in their being.
