DDV Mediengruppe - Takeover 2024 - Verlagsgesellschaft Madsack
In January 2024, the Madsack media group agreed to take on all shares in the DDV media group, subject to the approval of the Federal Cartel Office. After approval, the takeover took place on May 1, 2024. Since the German Druck and Verlagsgesellschaft (DDVG) holds a share of around 23 % in Madsack, it is still indirectly involved in the DDV media group.
