Maria Farmer - Art consultant & secretary - Jeffrey Epstein
Because Maria Farmer was threatened by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, she had to go into hiding and take a new name. She was finally able to turn to the public in 2019 after Epstein was exposed and processed her experiences artistically.
Farmer is a painter who primarily creates paintings and pastel drawings of individuals or groups of people. At an art exhibition, the dean of the Academy of Art, Eileen Guggenheim, introduced Farmer to both Jeffrey Epstein, who was a member of the Academy of Art board from 1987 to 1994, and his companion Ghislaine Maxwell. As art patrons, Epstein and Maxwell were welcome guests in New York.
In the summer of 1995, Maria Farmer was one of four artists selected for a trip to Santa Fe by the Academy of Arts. Several of the artists confirmed that they attended a Guggenheim dinner party hosted by Epstein and Maxwell, which was described as "bizarre" and intended to test the artists' personal boundaries. Back in New York, Maria Farmer began working as an art consultant for Epstein, who had his own collection of artworks, and also acted as a secretary at his private estate.
Maria Farmer described Epstein showing her the security room in his New York mansion, which was equipped with extensive video surveillance equipment, including in the property's bedrooms and bathrooms.

Maria Farmer - applied in the 2002 Epstein case - Vanity Fair
Maria Farmer, along with her sister Annie, addressed her allegations against Epstein to Vanity Fair magazine in 2002, but the publication chose not to include her statements in an article about Epstein.
Although the Farmer sisters and their mother reported Epstein's abuse, their statements were edited out of the final story by then-editor Graydon Carter. Carter's residence and the Vanity Fair office had each received threatening signals (a pistol bullet and a cat's head) while researching Epstein. Former US President Bill Clinton is also said to have intervened and threatened Vanity Fair if they published the allegations against Epstein.
