Jeffrey Epstein
According to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein and French model scout Jean Luc Brunel met in the early 1990s. Around 2005, Epstein reportedly gave Brunel about $1 million to start his own modeling agency, MC2 Modeling, in Miami.
Brunel is said to have supplied Epstein with models and “exotic teens”. He was accused, among other things, of raping 12-year-old triplets. He is said to have flown the three sisters to America so that they could be abused by Epstein as a "birthday present".
Jean-Luc Brunel was a business partner and close friend of Epstein, who visited him in prison in Miami dozens of times in 2008 and 2009. Brunel was suspected of having sent several girls between the ages of 12 and 24 to Epstein in the USA. He is said to have flown 12-year-old sisters from a Paris housing estate to America so that they could be abused by Epstein as a “birthday present”.
In 2005, Brunel, with financial support from Epstein, converted Karin Models' US division into an independent modeling agency called MC2 Model Management and opened offices in Miami and New York City.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an accuser of Epstein, alleged in a 2014 court filing that the agency was a front for a sex trafficking ring.[6] According to reports, women and underage girls were lured into the system with modeling jobs and then systematically abused
Jean-Luc Brunel was the founder of the MC2 modeling agency, which prosecutors believed was used as a front company for sex trafficking. Giuffre said during her 2016 interrogation that modeling agent Brunel appeared to have "an arrangement with the American government" to obtain travel documents for the girls. He was a business partner and close friend of Epstein, who visited him in prison in Miami dozens of times in 2008 and 2009. Brunel was suspected of having sent several girls between the ages of 12 and 24 to Epstein in the USA. He is said to have flown 12-year-old sisters from a Paris housing estate to America so that they could be abused by Epstein as a “birthday present”.
In November 2020, Roberts Giuffre responded to an online appeal from the French judges in English. She provided enough evidence and became the main witness in Brunel's prosecution. Brunel was due to be arrested in January 2021 following further investigations. However, he was intercepted and arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on December 16, 2020 with a one-way ticket to Dakar. Roberts Giuffre stated that she was raped by Brunel “in the early 2000s,” so the alleged crime was within the statute of limitations and could be prosecuted. Brunel died in prison in February 2022, presumably by suicide, before a trial could take place.
